Our Vision:
We are a passionate group of teachers, parents, and students in Cornwall, dreaming of creating a unique learning experience for our community. Our vision is to build a thriving school farm where young people can connect with nature, learn about sustainable agriculture, and develop valuable life skills.
The Challenge:
To bring our farm to life, we urgently need to drill a borehole to provide a reliable water source for our crops and animals. Additionally, we want to power the farm entirely with solar energy, minimising our environmental impact and reducing operating costs.
How You Can Help:
We are seeking generous donations to fund the following:
- Borehole Drilling: The cost of drilling a borehole and installing a pump system is estimated at £5000. This will ensure a consistent water supply throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions.
- Solar Panels: Installing solar panels on the farm’s buildings will provide clean energy for irrigation, lighting, and other essential equipment. The estimated cost for a solar panel system is £2500.
Your Impact:
By contributing to our campaign, you will:
- Empower Young Learners: Provide young people with hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, fostering a love for nature and healthy eating habits.
- Promote Sustainability: Demonstrate the importance of renewable energy and resource conservation, inspiring others to adopt eco-friendly practices.
- Strengthen Community: Create a vibrant hub for education, collaboration, and social connection, benefiting generations to come.
Every Pound Counts:
No donation is too small! Your generosity will directly support the creation of a sustainable school farm that will enrich the lives of countless children and serve as a model for sustainable living.
