To be filled with your Holy Spirit

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a yearning in my heart. I desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit, that powerful force that guided Jesus and his disciples.

Open me to your presence, like fertile ground ready for the seed of your Spirit. Wash away any doubt or fear that may hinder my connection with you.

Fill me with your wisdom, your compassion, and your strength. Grant me the discernment to see the world through your eyes, and the courage to act with love, just as Jesus did.

Guide me in following his teachings. Let his words be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Help me to show kindness and forgiveness, even in the face of difficulty.

May your Holy Spirit empower me to live a life that reflects yours – a life of service, humility, and love.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
