Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Heavenly Father, we come before you, acknowledging your holiness and majesty. We pray for all young people, especially those who find themselves working on the farm, that they may see your hand in creation and find your peace in their labour. May your name be hallowed in their hearts.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Lord, we ask that your kingdom come and your will be done in the lives of those who are unwell. We pray for those in our church who are suffering, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually. May they find comfort and strength in your presence, just as Jesus found strength in you on the cross.
We lift up Nigel to you, asking for your continued healing touch upon him. May your will be done in his life and in the lives of all those who are suffering.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Father, we pray for those in Par and St Blazey who are struggling with poverty. We ask that you provide their daily bread, both physically and spiritually. Grant them your peace, and show them ways to meet their needs, to pay their bills, and to have food on their tables.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
We come before you, mindful of the scene on Calvary, where even in the midst of unimaginable suffering, your Son, Jesus, offered forgiveness. Help us to embody the spirit of Christ’s forgiveness, even when we feel hurt or wronged. Grant us the strength to extend grace to those who may have caused us pain, just as Jesus did for those who crucified him.
We ask that you soften our hearts and open our eyes to the humanity of those around us, even those we struggle to understand. Help us to see them as you see them, with compassion and love.
Father, we acknowledge our own shortcomings and our need for your forgiveness. We confess that we often fall short of the example set by Jesus. Help us to recognise where we have acted in ignorance or malice, and grant us the humility to seek forgiveness from you and from those we have wronged.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Heavenly Father, we pray for the young people of our community. Protect them from the temptations of the world, and deliver them from evil. We particularly pray that you would draw them to the Bible study group, that they may find your truth and guidance.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
Lord, we acknowledge that yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. We trust in your provision and your love.
Help us to be a beacon of light in our community, reflecting the love and forgiveness of Christ. May our words and actions bring healing and reconciliation to those around us.
Amen.
