Daily Prayers and a Blessing

Morning Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the gift of this new day and for all that it holds. Thank you for the joy and fulfilment we find in our work. We love our jobs and are grateful for the opportunity to use our gifts and talents to serve others.

Forgive us for our sins, known and unknown. Cleanse our hearts and minds, and fill us afresh with the power of your Holy Spirit.

I pray for Abi as she has her hair cut and dyed today. May it be everything she hopes for and more.

Thank you for Mia. Please guide the accountant as he searches for an apprenticeship for her. May he find the perfect opportunity for her to learn and grow after she finishes school in June.

I pray for Anna and me as we go to collect the ducks today. Help us to finish preparing their new home and for the ducks to settle in quickly. And Lord, if it be your will, may Roger offer to take some of the ducks off our hands.

As we gather at Nigel’s house tonight, please be present with us. Guide our conversation and help us to hear your voice clearly.

We pray that today we would find suitable land. And as we go to view the Morris Minor, we pray it would be a good one, free of rust and ready for new adventures.

Thank you for your love, grace, and guidance. We dedicate this day to you.

Evening Prayer

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the richness of this day. Thank you for the ducks, for safe travels, for good company, and for all the moments of joy and laughter.

We lift up Abi, Mia, Anna, Nigel, and Roger to you. Thank you for being with them today. Please continue to bless them and meet their needs.

Thank you for the progress made on the farm today. We commit all our plans into your hands.

Forgive us for any way we have fallen short today. Help us to rest well and wake refreshed, ready to serve you again tomorrow.
