Daily Prayers

Dear Lord,

As the day draws to a close, we gather together to give thanks for all you have done. We thank you for the gift of this day, for the joy of life on the farm, and for the simple pleasures of tidying the barn and enjoying the warmth of the fire.

We thank you for the laughter and connection we shared today, for the new haircuts that Anna and Mia enjoyed, and for your presence with Mia when she had a funny turn at the hairdresser. We pray for her continued health and well-being.

Lord, we lift up the work on the farm, praying for the funding needed to complete the projects and for the young people who will be involved. Inspire them to engage with the work, to learn new skills, and to grow in confidence and responsibility.

We thank you for the gift of this beautiful weather, for the dry day and the fair skies. We pray that this good weather continues, especially for the BBQ planned for Friday with the builders who are working so hard to renovate the school.

As we prepare for sleep, we ask for your peace to surround us. Grant us restful sleep and sweet dreams, that we may wake refreshed and ready for the day ahead.

Forgive us for any ways we have fallen short today. Help us to learn from our mistakes and to grow in our love for you and for others.

We pray for the remainder of our half-term holidays, that they would be filled with joy, rest, and meaningful connection. Bless our return to school and work next week, and grant Abi safe travels as she returns to university on Sunday.

Thank you for your constant love and faithfulness. We entrust ourselves to your care, knowing that you are always with us.
