Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father,
As we enter this time of half-term holidays, we thank you for the opportunity to rest and recharge. We pray that each member of our family, and all those around us, will find true restoration for their bodies, minds, and spirits.
Bless Mia as she works at the cafe this week. May she find joy in her work and not be burdened by the stress of exams. Guide us as we navigate the process of securing her apprenticeship with the accountant, opening doors for her future.
We are so grateful to have Abi home from university. Fill this week with laughter, connection, and shared memories. Help me to complete her bedroom transformation, creating a space she loves to come home to. And grant me the energy to finish Mia’s room as well.
Lord, we lift up Anna, who is weary and in need of rest. Grant her the space and quiet she needs to recover. May this week be filled with family time and simple pleasures, and may she accomplish all that she desires.
Give me wisdom and patience as I support each member of my family. Help me to create a loving and encouraging environment where they can flourish and become all they are meant to be.
We eagerly await the arrival of our ducks. Prepare a safe and welcoming haven for them here at home. May they quickly become beloved pets and be protected from any harm, especially the cunning fox.
As I travel the Cornish roads today, grant me patience and grace with other drivers. Help me to see them as you see them and to extend kindness and understanding.
And Lord, as I seek your presence at Anchor church tomorrow, quiet my heart and open me to your peace. May I encounter you in a fresh and meaningful way.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
