Teach me to do your will

Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God!
Let your good Spirit lead me
on level ground!

Psalm 143:10 – ESV

Think of this as your go to verse for when you are in trouble. We need the Spirit’s counsel in every situation but even more so when things get bad. And the Spirit will lead you to do that which is acceptable to God and it will be pleasing to him. You can trust his Spirit to give you wise and prudent advise and he will not lead you astray.

God with me as I lie down,
God with me as I rise up,
God with me in each ray of light,
No ray of joy without him,
No one ray without him.

Christ with me sleeping,
Christ with me waking,
Christ with me watching,
Every day and night,
Every day and night.

God with me protecting,
The Lord with me directing,
The Spirit with me strengthening,
For ever and forever more,
Ever and evermore, Amen.
