The Story
Haman, the king’s right-hand man, was on top of the world! The king had honoured him above everyone else, and he couldn’t wait to tell his friends and family all about it. But as he left the palace, he saw Mordecai, a Jewish man who refused to bow down to him. This made Haman furious! Even though he had so much, Mordecai’s disrespect ruined his happiness.
Haman went home and poured out his anger and frustration to his wife and friends. They suggested a plan: build a tall pole and ask the king’s permission to hang Mordecai on it. Haman loved the idea!
Key Points

- Resentment: Haman let his resentment grow and fester. Instead of trying to forgive or understand, he plotted revenge.
- Bad Advice: Haman’s friends and family should have helped him see reason, but instead, they encouraged his worst impulses.
