Adding an order manually in woocommerce

I have a customer that is running a room booking system. Adding a room booking manually is simple but adding that order to woocommerce is proving difficult. So I thought in case anyone else is finding this process difficult I would add this post showing how to do it.

The initial difficulty is that you cannot create a new user in woocommerce customer. Woocommerce uses the WordPress user system. So head over to users – new user. Add the new user but change the role to customer (see below).

Make sure you click on Add New User button!

Now you can head over to woocommerce and add a new order. When you add the new order under customer you can now select your new customer.
