Ever feel like you’re just one person, and you can’t really make a difference in the world? Mark 16:15 has a powerful message: “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Jesus isn’t just talking to grown-ups here; this is a call to everyone who follows Him, including you!
“Preach the gospel” might sound intimidating, but it’s not just about standing on a street corner with a megaphone. It’s about sharing the good news of Jesus’s love in whatever way you can. It’s about living a life that reflects His love, being kind to others, standing up for what’s right, and telling your friends about what Jesus means to you.
Think about it: you’re surrounded by people who might not know Jesus. Your friends, your classmates, your family… You have unique opportunities to share your faith in ways that other people can’t. Maybe it’s through a conversation, maybe it’s through your actions, maybe it’s just by being a good friend. God can use you in amazing ways, right where you are.
So, don’t underestimate the impact you can have. Don’t think you have to be perfect or have all the answers. Just be willing to go, be willing to share, and be willing to let God work through you.
Prayer
Jesus, thank you for calling me to share the good news. Give me the courage to speak about you to others. Show me the opportunities you’re putting in my path. Help me to live a life that reflects your love and makes you proud. Amen.
