Okay, let’s talk about a picture that’s straight-up mind-blowing. Imagine this: you’re looking up, and there’s a crowd, bigger than any concert, any festival, anything you’ve ever seen. It’s so huge you can’t even count them! And they’re not just anyone – they’re from every country, every group, every language you can think of.
That’s what John saw in Revelation 7:9-10. This massive crowd, all dressed in white, waving palm branches, and shouting, “Salvation belongs to our God!” They’re all there because of Jesus, the Lamb.
After these things I looked, and here was an enormous crowd that no one could count, made up of persons from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in long white robes, and with palm branches in their hands. They were shouting out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, to the one seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelation 7:9-10 (NET)
What does that mean for us? It means that following Jesus isn’t just a small thing. It’s a global movement, a huge family! It means that no matter where you’re from, what you look like, or what language you speak, you belong. You’re part of something massive, something incredible.
When you feel alone, or like your faith is small, remember this crowd. Remember that Jesus is bringing people from everywhere together. You’re not alone, and you’re part of something way bigger than you can imagine. Keep walking with Jesus, keep sharing His love, because you’re helping to build that amazing crowd.
Prayer
Dear Jesus, thank you for making us part of your amazing family. Thank you for bringing people from all over the world together. When we feel small or alone, remind us of that huge crowd in heaven, all praising you. Help us to keep walking with you, to share your love, and to be part of building your kingdom. Amen.
