In Cornwall’s rain, with dogs on the chain,
We stroll, they roll, tails wag like a train.
Muddy paws dance, a soggy refrain,
Cornwall’s showers can’t dampen their gain!
Dad strides along, in his waterproof cape,
With canine companions, an adventurous escape.
Raindrops as drumbeats, a rhythm to shape,
Cornish drizzle won’t make their spirits reshape!
Back home we go, a damp canine crew,
Towels twirl, as wet fur meets a rub or two.
By the fireplace, warmth starts to imbue,
In Cornwall’s rain, our soggy adventure is through!
