We’re absolutely thrilled to share some wonderful news and extend a massive thank you to the fantastic folks at Growing Better Gardens in Lostwithiel! Thanks to a generous grant we received from them, we’ve been able to purchase essential compost and materials to build more raised beds for our project.
This support is already making a real difference, allowing us to expand our growing space and continue creating a thriving environment for everyone involved. We’re so grateful for their belief in what we do. It’s wonderful to have local organisations like Growing Better Gardens supporting community initiatives. We also love that they run a plant swap – such a brilliant idea for local gardeners!
For those who may not know, Growing Better Gardens is a fantastic Community Gardening project with a wonderful mission:
“A Community Gardening project based in a private area of the Duchy of Cornwall nursery site on Cott Road. The project has been set up to encourage anyone with health issues, or who feels socially isolated, to come along and garden, chat, exercise or just drink tea in a friendly supportive atmosphere. We currently meet on a Thursday or Friday morning from 10am, but as seeds germinate and grow we may be there more often. If you are interested in joining us please contact Mel via their Facebook page or Fiona, by email growingbettergarden AT gmail.com or phone 07846 871 148.”
Thank you once again, Growing Better Gardens – your support means the world to us!
