At the heart of everything I do is my faith. I’m a Christian, not because it’s a family tradition or a social expectation, but because I’ve experienced the transformative power of Jesus in my own life. To me, being a Christian means having a personal relationship with God, striving to follow his teachings, and relying on his grace to navigate life’s ups and downs. It’s about love, forgiveness, and finding purpose in serving others.
But there’s more to me than just my faith. I’m a husband and a father, deeply devoted to my amazing wife, Anna, and our two wonderful daughters, Abi and Mia. They are my priority, my inspiration, and the source of much joy and laughter in my life.
My love for animals extends beyond our human family. We share our home with a lively dog named Storm and a cuddly cat called Midnight. And on our smallholding, we have a growing flock of chickens (and soon, ducks!) who bring a touch of rural charm to our lives.
Professionally, I’m a youth worker, passionate about empowering young people to reach their full potential. I believe in creating safe spaces where they can connect, grow, and discover their purpose. I’m also a firm believer in the power of outdoor education, using nature as a backdrop for learning and personal development.
Cornwall, with its stunning coastline, rolling hills, and vibrant communities, is where I call home. It’s a place that inspires me, challenges me, and fills me with a sense of belonging.
And just for fun, here are a few more tidbits about me:
Dream car: A classic Morris Minor convertible (I’m working on making this a reality!).
Secret passion: Building elaborate Lego creations (who says toys are just for kids?).
Favourite activities: Gardening, DIY projects, and anything that involves being outdoors and getting my hands dirty.
Ultimately, I’m just an ordinary guy trying to live an extraordinary life, guided by faith, fuelled by love, and inspired by the beauty of the world around me.
