Love is…

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8

This passage if reversed, gives us an understanding of God’s attitude to us. When we read it with this in mind we find:
God is patient and kind
God does not envy or boast and he is not arrogant or rude
He does not insist on his own way
He is not irritable or resentful
He does not rejoice at wrongdoing, he rejoices at truth
God bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things
God will never end….

Jesus example of patience and kindness show God’s attitude to us and what our attitude should be, one of love. Make it your goal to be a person who loves. Follow God’s example shown in the life of his Son.
