Randomly rambling about things I love. Which includes a rather large list and a variety of stuff. I love God. I love my family and my pets. I love gardening and making stuff and I love playing with computers and techy stuff. I love living in Cornwall and I love walking and being outdoors.
This is my ideas and thoughts website. It is my blog and it is my way of alerting the world to what is happening in my life and with ideas I love.
So what do I do? I encourage others to find rest, most of all my gorgeous wife Anna. She doesn’t do rest and I figure if I make it a life long commitment to get her to rest, that won’t be long enough! Having said that, I’m not that good at creating space to give her rest, so I need more practice.
I also love them, my family. It would be harsh to call love, work, but I feel sometimes we just don’t ‘work’ enough at love. Love should have a tangible feel to it. There is a brilliant book about different ways to love, gifts, touch, time, words and acts. The book is good, go and read it. To summarise, we have love languages, we tend to be strong in one or two. What I love is that it takes work to discover someone else’s love languages. So go love those around you.
My life is enclosed in God’s loving arms. At 23 I was leading a directionless lifestyle, aiming to be nothing. And then by chance I met God. No chance with God, he was looking after me before I was born and he will be looking after me long after I have died and gone to be with him. My life is his, he asked me to be brave and take risks. So that is what I am doing.
