Description
A completely natural, sustainably harvested wreath base. I heard the other day that the first ones I made in December 2013 are still in use, each year the Christmas foliage has been removed, the bases stored and they are used again the following year. They can also be used for dried flowers and kept indoors year round. These wreaths are completely compostable and if you don’t want to store them or redecorate seasonally you can choose to decorate them using garden twine instead of the more common florists wire and then just chuck the whole thing on the compost to feed the worms. Alternative uses include: – AdventCrown or table decor with candles and foliage, the have been used as an advent crown/wreath in a local school. (30cm was used for this). – Small ones as Floral crowns for adults and children. (The 20cm ones are great for this, let me know if you want to go smaller as they are made by hand pretty much any size is possible). – Hanging Wreath, suspended from the ceiling or around a light. I’ve used them suspended as a lampshade with copper wire threaded with Autumn leaves and nuts and with silver thread floating snowflakes cut out by my girls and crystaline beads. These wreaths are not just for Christmas. Each wreath is unique and sizes are approximate as they are hand made using natural materials. (They won’t be any smaller than measurements given). If you want a size which isn’t specified or for a specific purpose and you are unsure, please let me know, most sizes can be accommodated.
